Who we consider family is unique to each of us an who would be coming in for family therapy can look very different, it can be a single mother and her child, siblings, a ‘sister’ not blood related but nonetheless a sister, extended family, and various other combinations. Issues among family members are normal, we all heard the jokes and dreaded holiday gatherings many families survive every year.
